If you live in the Ocean Reef area, your message is important.

The changes to Outback laws that we’ve been working hard to achieve are at a crucial ‘fork in the road’.

Next week, Lands Minister Terry Redman will meet with his government colleagues to seek their support for the historic reforms.

Your local MP, Albert Jacob, is the Environment Minister and he needs to know that you support his Government’s moves to create a brighter future for the Outback.

Please send a positive message of encouragement to Mr Jacob. As a resident of the Ocean Reef area, your message will count.

Let Albert know that you support the Government’s reforms, and ask him to get behind the changes to Outback laws that will lay the foundation for a brighter future.

Here's a sample email to Mr Jacob that you can use as inspiration for your message, but please use your own words as much as possible.

Dear Mr Jacob,

I live in your local area and I’m writing to let you know how much I support your Government’s reforms to Outback laws.

These historic reforms will allow a wealth of new opportunities that will help agricultural businesses prosper while also looking after the land. The Rangelands Reform legislation will lay the foundations for a diversified, sustainable Outback economy and better support for Outback families.

These reforms are a vital step forward for both people and nature in our Outback. I would greatly appreciate your continued support for these reforms and I look forward to hearing of their progress.

Our Outback is an amazing place, but what makes it special is at risk.

Help make Outback carbon farming a reality

Carbon farming is breathing life back into the Wheatbelt. But just over the fence in WA’s Outback, where it's needed most, it's not allowed.

Kent Broad has been a farmer all his life and he's seen first-hand the benefits that carbon farming has brought to WA's Wheatbelt - but the Outback is missing out.

Help make Outback carbon farming a reality - tell government today.

Will you sign?

What do you want to do?

    Dear Premier [and local MP],
