Michael Clinch| formerly of Nallan Station

"It broke our hearts to leave Nallan Station. We gave every last drop of energy, time and money working to bring Nallan back to health. While we had many successes, a century of damage to the land can only be turned around by decades of care. As a family we were unable to continue, and had to sell up and move away. The sad thing is that the chance to diversify with a rangelands diversification lease could have helped us stay in Outback WA. I don’t want to see other families come to the realisation we did – that they have no choice but to leave."

Our Outback is an amazing place, but what makes it special is at risk.
