"If I had a Rangelands Lease, I could focus more on tourism by developing land based activities which complement the environment through environmental educational tours. indigenous guided tours and adventure activities like hiking or mountain biking. This would have the additional benefit of providing guests activities that were not water based thus protecting the Ningaloo Reef and our own Outback oasis even more. We could be a leading example of sustainable tourism, but the pastoral lease laws are in the dark ages. It’s time for the government to catch up."
